  7. This version fixes the following bugs:

  9. 1. Mini-Cad Viewing objects in Orthogonal View no longer causes artifacts to appear on the screen.
  10. 2. Quark Xpress Performing Step and Repeat function.
  11. 3. Running a TT128 M8 without a monitor attached will no longer crash the system.
  12. 4. Macromedia DreamWeaver  Cursor no longer disappears. (Note, should also fix Microsoft Exchange problem).
  13. 5. Microsoft Word:  Bounding boxes no longer lose their handles.  
  14. 6. Kaleidescope no longer has text spacing problems.

  19. 1. Infini-D  Sample palettes are drawn incorrectly.
  20. 2. M2 board, a residue sometimes appears from dialog boxes at 832x624 resolution.

  22. 4. Adobe Illustrator:  Distortion (one or two dropped pixels) sometimes appear on about box.

  38. This version fixes the following bugs:

  40. 1.  It works with UMAX S900 machines in all slots now.
  41. 2. QuickTimeVR works correctly now.

  43. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Software 4.0.1:

  45. This version fixes the compatibility problem that it had with certain CPU's. It also allows multiple IMS boards in the system now. These are the know bugs:

  47. 1.  The accelerator doesn't work with UMAX S900 machines when the board is in the bottom four slots. Moving the board to either of the top two slots will fix the problem.
  48. 2. QuickTimeVR may not work correctly on 9500MP running multiprocessor system software.

  50. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Software 4.0:

  52. This version significantly improves the acceleration over 3.8. It also fixes the QuickTime acceleration problem that¬†shows up on recording.

  54. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Software 3.8:

  56. This version fixes the Umlaut-A problem. The character was not showing up in previous version. It also fixes the background repaint problem that somtimes appears in M2 boards.

  58. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Software 3.6:

  60. This version fixes the text hilite problem and resolves the conflict with some applications such as Photoshop that sometimes leads to type 11 error.

  62. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Software 3.5:
  63. This version adds support for the new MP2 and MV2 boards. It also adds an MPEG hardware scaler.

  65. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ Upgrade version 3.1:
  66.  
  67. 1. This upgrade applies to Twin Turbo‚Ñ¢ 128M and Twin Turbo‚Ñ¢ 128M2 boards only.
  68. 2. This version fixes the bug that causes LocalTalk to freeze when  copying large files.
  69. 3. If you have version 2.1 ROM or less with this upgrade, you would be
  70.     able to access all the resolutions the board supports, up to
  71.     1920x1080. Just plug the monitor into the VGA connector and
  72.     leave the Mac connector open. It should come up with default
  73.     resolution or the resolution from last boot. The default resolution
  74.     is 640x480x60Hz for version 2.1 or 2.0 ROM and 832x624x75Hz for
  75.     version 1.x ROM plus the upgrade.

  77. To force the system to the default resolution, follow the following procedure:
  78.  
  79. - Reboot and hold down command-option-p-r.
  80. - Wait till the system restarts. Release the keys and hold down shift key.
  81. - Release the key after the "Welcome to Macintosh. Extensions Off." message shows up.
  82. - The system should be in default mode.

  85. Notes on TwinTurbo‚Ñ¢ 128M8:
  86. - The resolution 1920x1080 Millions mode is not supported at 72Hz.
  87. - It is recommended that the system has at least 32M of memory installed for maximum performance.
